Following the recommendations of the General Secretariat for Sport and Physical Activity of the Generalitat of Catalonia, the health authorities and other competent authorities, taking as an example what was decided by the Catalan Federation of Roller Skating (see attached statement), in relation to the Preventive measures to avoid the involvement of the coronavirus (COVID-19), the APB board of directors has decided to suspend all activity on routes and classes this week.
Obviously anyone is free to skate, but we want to contribute to the best of our ability so that the problem does not go further.
We are a non-profit organization, created in 2003, which aims to promote skating as a sport and leisure and promote relationships and human, social and cultural that derive from it; as well as providing a structure that allows to enhance greater public and administrative recognition. All in a framework of civility, fun and safety.
For this: APB carries out official guided tours of group skates every Friday at 10:30 p.m. through the streets of our city. Please, look at the slogans and the suggested tips, to enjoy with joy.
The APB also offers free access to skating lessons on Tuesdays at 9:30 p.m. at the Paseo García I Faria (Espronceda / Lope de Vega corners) and Sundays at 5:00 p.m. (winter time) or at 7:00 p.m. (summer time).
Your collaboration is very important to achieve our objectives as an association and to continue with our voluntary and altruistic task. To become a member you just have to fill out a form and pay a very affordable annual fee; you will have advantages and you will be part of a dream that comes true, helping others and enjoying on urban wheels.
If you already know how to skate, we invite you to come to the routes and classes, and enjoy the group skating. If you are starting or want to learn to skate online, we invite you to our free online skating initiation classes.
APB, more than skating.
